Seriously, it has been too long. you have developers who could do this. if not i have a resume. Please add custom skills to d&d beyond lotr 5e implimentation.
Also there are new subclasses for elves - wood elves et.
You can add custom skills to your sheet. What you're actually asking for is an entirely different character sheet to be implemented. That's a lot more work than just clicking a couple of buttons that already exist.
I get that Athanar, but if they sold it they should properly support it. It would be different if they stated that many items wouldn't work, others you will have to add to make it kind of work like in the original books.

The instructions to make it work are in the release thread. Which means there's an official statement from the company on how to make it work, along with noting that changes must be made manually to the relevant stats.

Does the marketplace page state that it's not compatible with the digital tools? Seems like false advertising if it doesn't.

"Compatible" with the tools doesn't mean "bugless"

Who's talking about bugs? I don't own the book, but from what I've read on the forum there's significant parts of it that just haven't been implemented.

People keep saying "haven't been implemented" with a ton of stuff.
I raise that, according to Ghostfire Gaming(the Grim Hollow devs) on their Discord, attempting to implement the Grim Hollow Transformations nearly broke Beyond w/how glitchy it was.
So I think it's reasonable to deduce that other devs' concepts have been tried, & simply didn't work/were riddled w/too many bugs.
Because they certainly TRY to implement stuff before releasing it.
It just may not work, despite seeming "simple", or "easy".
I honestly don't think the backend rework will solve as much as people fantasize(The whole site needs to be reworked from the ground up, & funds need to be allocated to that effect).
But the idea that nothing is even attempted to be "implemented" is just patently wrong, isn't as easy as it looks on the outside, & is hampered by shareholders demanding Hasbro focus on other things than DND 5e 2024.
& no, "try harder" may simply not work.
Unless someone actually knows how the site is coded deeper in(beyond what anyone can do w/the InspectElement function), &/or can prove Ghostfire lied/were paid off using objective evidence..there's simply no case for an absence of effort beyond VIBES, which aren't facts.

It's pretty much just the skills, as far as anything normally rollable goes. And those can be added manually already.

Which is in no way the same thing as supporting the release properly. I am aware of the workarounds they provided of course.
