Am I being stupid or is their literally no way to filter out content I already own so I can just see what I need to buy? Like so far the only way I have figured out how to do this is to just keep adding crap to my cart then checking if the cart says I already own it or not... but like, It would be nice to just go, I want to see all digital books in which I do not own, so I can quickly pick up whatever I am missing...
Why am I the one jumping through hoops to give you money...
This is a known and oft reported feature gap yeah. However if you go to "My Library" and select "All" you'll see a cart icon next to products you don't own and can purchase.
It just making me want to homebrew my missing races vs giving them money... Like if I have to jump through hoops either way, why do it the easy way with money if I can do it the labor way?
Good design for the marketplace? This is D&DBeyond. Where do you think you are? Now get silly ideas like a well designed market or buying what you want out of your head.
Why does "My Library" contain stuff I don't own... No idea, but hey this is far better than nothing I guess...
The nice thing about it is that it will show you which books you have access to through sharing but haven't purchased yourself. This can help explain times when you start up a different campaign or are just designing characters and don't have access to some materials you think you should, when in reality it is from stuff that has been shared with you in a specific campaign.
But hard agree that the Marketplace needs a function to display only materials you don't actually own.

At the top there are options for "Owned", "Owned+Shared" and "All". You can choose which you wish to filter out.
I've posted... easily 4 or 5 topics requesting this feature since the "new and improved" marketplace page was launched.
