I have a new DM that wants to dig into running a game and suggested that they run this one to get their feet wet. I know that it is free for public viewing on D&D Beyond, but is there a way to get this starter adventure in a .pdf format?? I am unable to locate this on the website so hoping someone can offer some assistance so I can help get this new DM started.
While certain adventures (the Extra Life ones like Lost Laboratory of Kwalish, e.g.) may be available in PDF form via DMs Guild, published adventures and sourcebooks (those available in hardcover or boxed format) are not available as PDFs.
It should also be mentioned that Dragon of Icespire Peak is not free for public viewing on D&D Beyond. DDB offers the ability to view the adventure's table of contents, but it must still be purchased to be viewed in its entirety. Unless, of course, it is being shared with you through Content Sharing.

for what its worth, pretty sure this is free in some comic book stores now as a thin stand-alone document sitting beside the boxed set - about 20 pages. This is NOT the free essentials rules. ...didn't think until after i left to pick it up since i already have the essentials kit but will go back this week. I can't find the pdf of that free 'preview' handout anywhere. [REDACTED]
