From the Dungeon Masters: Living Spells Play-Along Pack-
"Evolving the Idol of Good Fortunes. You decide when a magic item evolves. In general, a magic item evolves when a character's power level increases to the next tier of play. An evolved magic item retains its properties from its previous rarity."
But when viewing the included item (Idol of Good Fortunes), none of the evolved versions, the Tarnished (Rare) or Golden (Very Rare), are retaining the properties from the previous rarities. So the Golden does not include the +1 AC bonus while attuned or knowing the Augury spell. Tested adding it to a character to see if it the bonuses were added but just not listed, but no luck.
Considering this is one of the big hooks of the Arcana Unleashed book, it does not spark a lot of hope in them being set up correctly at release. (Also the Play-Along Packs don't seem to get a thread in the Release Issues & Support forum)
