The Magic Initiate feat, according to this Errata, allows you to cast the spell you gain from the feat using spell slots, as long as you have levels in the class that you are a Magic Initiate in.
However, the D&D Beyond character builder does not show this in the viewer, showing your level 1 Magic Initiate spell as usable only once per long rest. The spell should be shown as usable both once per long rest and through spell-slot casting.
Is this a bug/missing feature or outdated errata?

And that's all I have to say about that.
