I know many players use Twitter to ask questions regarding rule clarifications from WotC staff members. I think it would be incredibly useful to have rule clarifications listed in the compendium as well. Like, maybe monthly WotC could send over top clarification questions and they can be added in the related rules section or something along those lines. If this is going to be a central D&D tool suite, I think including those could be a nice addition.
Oh yeah! Integration with things like Sage Advice or the Extras and Erratas would be amazing. Like little hover-over citation marks next to the relevant parts in the rules and stuff.
This was going to be the exact suggestion that i was going to make. I would love to see links to Errata and Sage Advice rulings attached to spells and rules within this platform! It would be great to have them easily accessible within a few seconds while i am running a game. Right now, i have to make a ruling just to keep the table going. To often we've had to retcon a ruling after we find the answer.
If there could be a section at the bottom for errata and rulings, that would be excellent. Wizards already does this with MtG on Gatherer, so a similar setup would be very helpful.

I think this is the best solution. Or better yet, have a window of the errata next to the spell or ability in question. It would certainly save us the time spent on looking something up that isn't contained in the books themselves.

"Because I'm trying to show this water elemental there's no need to be afraid of the pit of fire! Just play along."
Also every interested in this, not just because it would add value to the service (which I'm sure we'll eventually end up paying for [and I'm fine with that]) but also because it would make those rulings more accessible in general. No offense to WotC but the manner in which Sage Advice & Errata is handled is not easy to parse into the game, though until now there also wasn't an easier way to do it, either.

When you’re creating your own shit, man, even the sky ain’t the limit. ~ Miles Davis
This is a really cool idea that I would like to see as well, even if it's just in its own section on the site. If they did it this way the could have it split into sections like the rules and what not, and have a section for different spell clarifications, one for items and so on. This may not be quite as convenient as could be done, but it would still work well and wouldn't clutter up spell pages and what not with more information.
Sorcerer: Quickened Metamagic Can't use another non-cantrip spell or invocation during the same round. (This isn't sage advice, it's just on page 202, way outside the class description, and is easily missed, so should probably be noted in the class description)
I think there could be useful information or ruling corrections/clarifications links at the bottom of the rule/item/spell/etc. which would allow for quick and easily identified corrections rather than having another section for them.
Not trying to repeat anyone if they have already said this, I just did not see it stated this way in my quick read through here. If someone commented similarly and I miss read, I apologize.

You are not wise enough to fear me as I should be feared. You do not know the first note of the music that moves me.
It would be great if there were a Sage Advice icon visible on any rules section for which Sage Advice exists. Click it for a pop up of the various SA rulings that involve the current topic.

I had the same thought. Thanks for mentioning it.

For starters, here are some useful ones that I've jotted down, and they could be inserted or linked at the right places:
Fighter: Eldritch Knight - War Magic
The intent is that the bonus attack can come before or after the cantrip. You choose when to take a bonus action during your turn, unless the bonus action specifies when it must take place (PH, 189).
Fighting Style: Dueling
The damage bonus applies to thrown melee weapons.
Sorcerer: Quickened Metamagic
Can't use another non-cantrip spell or invocation during the same round. (This isn't sage advice, it's just on page 202, way outside the class description, and is easily missed, so should probably be noted in the class description)
Lucky
When used on a roll with disadvantage, this feat allows a player to pick the best of three d20.
Minor Illusion
An illusory object created by a minor illusion doesn’t move.
Falling Damage
Immunity to nonmagical bludgeoning damage doesn't protect from falling damage.
Readied Actions & Opportunity Attacks
If you have an action readied, you can make an opportunity attack, which causes you to stop readying.
Many more here.
