So I was helping someone homebrew a class and I was trying to use the spell list to find specific types of spells to add to the class. I was looking for "ranged" attacked spells. So I go into the spell list section and put in "Ranged" in the spell tag. What I got was a totally incomplete list of spells. Fireball, Magic Missile and other common and typical ranged spells did not show up and I realized it's because they have completely different spell tags. Oh and I got a second joke at my expense because when I tried to add multiple tags I got no result because the search looks for only listing which has ALL the tags, meanwhile every spell only has ONE tag. And of course, no option to just look for spells with the word "range" in it. After 2 years I would think you guys would make sure every spell has a comprehensive list of tags available so someone can filter out spells properly and conduct actually meaningful searches. I mean I gave up when I realized that I couldn't even just find "beam" type spells and I would have to comb through dozens of spells to find them.
Meanwhile, you guys are working towards your Twitch plugin because, you know, that's more important than polishing the website.
Every time I try to use this as an actual tool I am disappointed that I spent money on content for this poorly optimized website.

Magic Missile and Fireball do not require a ranged spell attack, that is why they do not show up when you filter with ATTACK TYPE = RANGED.
With TAG = DAMAGE and filtering by Range on the list, you have a complete list of damaging spells that are at range:
