I have recently attempted to create a Variant for a race that I have published only to find that it was impossible to do so without creating a new version of the original race and then creating a Variant and the same was true of Subraces.

in addition to this, there is an issue when creating a new version of a published race where any 'additional' abilitys are lost and have to be recreated.

please fix and add these features that already exist for the main races to homebrew content.

I am having this issue as well!
