Right now they have the standard locations Forest, Plains, Swamp etc .... i would like to see other planes added .... all creatures commonly found on the fire plane for example, which would include fire elemental, fire giants, red dragons .....etc ....
This information is taken directly from the Monster Manual/Volo's Guide/Tome of Foes etc. What you're describing is 'lore information', stuff that varies from setting to setting, campaign to campaign. It's also designed to tie in to the set environmental random encounter tables. This would have to be a change that comes down more from WotC than DDB
of course it changes from setting to setting, but that does not mean that it couldn't have an easy search for monsters that like hot places .... and the like .... take all fire based enemies and group them together or the like.

DDB goes by official information. Until WOTC puts out an official list, DDB would not make assumptions about what is present or not present on any given plane.
"monsters that like hot places" isn't an official category per RAW. DDB only displays official information and categories, this would have to be something WotC implements.
That is a class, not modification of WotC IP content. What you're talking about is DDB going through and changing the D&D monsters, not adding new ones.

I can only hope that WotC will have a 'monsters listed by plane's index in a planscape setting book when they finally come out with one.

yet they have non official contact like mat mercers blood hunter class ...
Cross-promotion deal between WOTC, D&D and Critical Role.
Definitely not the same thing as D&D Beyond developers deciding to add their own classifications to monsters.
