Possibly wrong thread, but I was wondering if there was any real 'support' for the reincarnate spell?
IE: you have a character who goes from a tiefling to an elf, this results in statistical changes / racial changes etc, while keeping his old languages and so on.
From what I can tell currently on DnD beyond you have 1 option:
- remake the entire sheet as an elf and pretend he speaks infernal instead of elf
It's a super specific situation that probably doesn't come up much/ever, I was just wondering if anyone knew a work around for this? IDK
You don't retain your languages when reincarnated - language is a racial trait, which is what changes when you get your new body.
So all you would have to do is go back into the character builder and change the race from old to new - you may have to re-pick a couple of proficiencies but that is about it
I would suggest one alteration on this spell if cast at 7th, 8th, or 9th level the caster gets a 25% chance per additional spell slot to select the new race.

That's how it would be with reincarnate if you're playing analogue; remake your entire character. So I wouldn't expect DDB to be any different.
