In character notes, after Backstory and Other, would it be possible to add a "DM Notes" section ?
This would be an an area visible to any DM of a campaign your character is registered for. The goal would be for initial creation of characters with options/leads for character arcs, a distilled coles notes of the whole backstory, some was leads for the DM to work with and refer to rapidly. Additionally, if possible, by being a section of the character information that is also modifiable by the DM, the notes could be TOWARDS the character by the DM of created information for the character's arc through a campaign.
Both, I guess it should be called Notes to Dm / DM notes or Character Arc.
The Character can see the notes and in fact should fill this section for the DM on character creation. For example, the backstory might be of being sold as a slave, not knowing where the character came from, how they ended up with slavers, without a clue when in character and avoiding meta. In the DM area, you could always write : Provenence, though unknown to the character, is from Chondalwood where the rest of the ghostwise clan was murdered and sold. The slavers were from underdark and from a specific family.
During character creation initially and then character arc development, both the DM and character can keep specific notes about the character arc. This is separate from backstory, in fact, it would be like the section where notes are kept AS the current story develops : friendly NPCs, relationships during campaign, character arc opportunities, DM to character "secrets." Then again, the "Notes" section can pretty much fulfill this role.

I'm confused about what you are asking for. Can the player see the note on his character or only the DM?
