While I find the homebrew creation like/dislike system useful, and a good idea, I think it could be improved, mainly by requesting to leave a message/comment, or select a broad reason, when deciding to downvote an homebrew creation.
If anyone were to go look at what I did in terms of homebrew content, they will undoubtedly see that my own homebrew subclasses are not fairing too well, and one might be inclined to think this post is just because I am bitter for getting downvotes. If that same anyone were to go have a look at the comments in the first subclass of mine that was accepted (and the only one with comments so far), they would see that I am quite open to criticism, especially constructive one.
While it indeed stings to see something you created getting negative votes, the reasoning behind this request is mostly due to the fact that I (and I guess anyone else finding themselves in the same situation) would REALLY like to be given any kind of feedback on the why a negative vote has been cast. The aim of this would be to provide creators with at least a vague idea on where their creation is failing to find appreciation. If someone went as far as publishing something they did, they most probably think it's good, or at least not so bad in its current form. Seeing negative votes with no indication on what is wrong with it is pretty demoralizing, and this community is better than that, in my experience.
I know this idea might not find much agreement, but I thought to put it out anyway, if anything to speak my mind.
I've been active on rating content Including yours. I'll be sure to go through and add comments corresponding to my votes. It'll also give me a chance to revisit my reasoning; I know I've changed my mind on the Bogchild already.

Thank you for the reply Vaegrim :)
And thank you for changing your mind on my subclass. Most of all I want to get feedback in order to get better, to refine my developing process, and I am sure anyone having negative evaluation on their content feels the same (well, maybe not everyone, but surely the majority of them).
Any comment is welcome and appreciated :)

Hmm.. Right away I notice comments seem to be turned off on Bogchild and Long Arm. Closed Fist has gotten a good deal of discussion, much of which I agree with (too complicated).
I will say, I'm generally leery of Monk Ways that add directly to damage with their 3rd level feature. The Kensei's access to d10 monk weapons is about the upper limit I'm willing to accept on passive damage improvements with 3rd level features.
Hi LeK, I just wanted to drop by and say I've always found your homebrew both enjoyable and extremely creative, and I hope you don't let the point system bring you down (nor anyone else reading, who may share similar feelings). I know you've had lots of interest in your long-running series of subclasses that you've been sharing on the forum prior to the subclass system actually being added into D&D Beyond, and I'm sure you'd have plenty of upvotes on them from those users had they been able to vote at the time.
I am not sure why the comments were turned off on the Bogchild, I was sure I turned them on :-/ I've made sure they are active now.
The Way of the Closed Fist in it's it's cu version is indeed complicated and "unfriendly" for most players. Measures have and will be taken to make it better ;)
@VillainTheory: thank you for the support :) I just want to get better at this, and be able to give the community quality material to enjoy at home

Agreed, a quick prompt after voting up or down to leave a comment would go a long way in helping provide feedback. I've been guilty of lurking and not contributing to conversations and just these past few days of having conversations of my own homebrew stuff has led me to wanting to take a more active role. The majority of users probably have the same mindset, vote and move on, so I could see a prompt like you get when submitting a homebrew item/spell/etc helping drive the conversation.
@LeK - I've been meaning to give some feedback on your subclasses as the ideas are interesting, but have been lazy about it. No more though! To the comments we go! I echo your sentiment on feedback too, I am very new to not just homebrew but D&D in general and getting comments for an open discussion really helps in developing a design sense for what you're trying to accomplish.
I 100% agree. I can clearly see that a bunch of my spells have over 100 adds, but there are no comments on ANY of it. I was really looking forward to some kind of congratulations and/or criticism to see how balanced my content actually is. I only have one character in my campaign I'm running casting only 2 of my spells, but he's still pretty new and can't give experienced feedback. It's just... frustrating.
