I am just wondering if there was a reason that my booming blade cantrip lacks the option to "Display as attack" all the other spells have this option and I am just curious if this was an oversight or if this was done on purpose. If it was done on purpose what was the reasoning behind it?
It was done on purpose. Booming blade and green-flame blade damage were added to weapon attacks. This is because the spells do not have a hit/save themselves.

Thanks.

Ahhh, gotcha, I see it now. Thanks for the help!
