Something which I was wondering was whether or not it would be possible to expand on the 'Environment' tag/filter within the creature finder.
It would be super helpful if we would search via things like planes of existence i.e. feywild, shadowfel, elemental planes, the abyss or the nine hells etc...
At the moment, trying to create encounters within some of these planes you need to read the 'blurb' which is all good stuff, but not very easy for quick reference.
I'm aware the env tags are in the book, that's why the exist on monsters in DDB. I very much doubt they'd go through every monster printed and add a planar tag in a future publication

My post wasn't responding to you. As for planar tags, they could easily cover large swaths of monsters by monster tag (ie angel, demon, devil). Plus they already did go through (nearly) every monster with environments.
I guess, what I was asking for when I posted this was 'added value' from the tool, so we didn't have to go through the books reading every bit of blurb. I didn't know there was a Planar book coming, that sounds cool and I may cover off what I'm looking for..
Hi there,

Thanks
That information isn't provided at a rules level in the source material. I don't think DDB adds anything that isn't official level source.

I agree with you. But the environment tags come from the books. I expect/hope a planes tag list will be included in a planescape setting book.

@DxJxC sorry, silly non-branching forums. Impossible to know who's replying to whom
@SimonJM83 There's no planar book coming soon, at least not one that's confirmed or even rumoured. Might be something announced this weekend.

Yeah, I haven't heard any confirmation for a planes book, I just really want one. I'm sure we will get one eventually, just no idea when.
