I prefer to do my character creation and tracking in dndbeyond but to use paper for sessions. The export of the character sheet is for the most part great but I find that I have to refer to the phb often to get the full description of a spell, feature, or trait. I'd lo e if there was an option just export them all with thier full description.
I imagine you're playing fully offline, since you're using the PHB instead of just searching D&D Beyond for the description. In this case, I highly recommend the official Spellbook Cards made by GaleForce9. They're very good overall, and my players have used them a lot. They're particularly great for new players. In a few cases, spells with very long descriptions have abbreviated descriptions (at least in the original versions; this may have changed). If you have access to a phone or tablet, then there are nice spellbook managing apps, or in that case, you have access to D&D Beyond. (Even if you're offline, you can use the D&D Beyond app to access the Player's Handbook (if you've purchased it), and using the search feature will generally be more efficient than using the book. Bonus: you don't need internet access or to carry around the physical PHB.)
I do that now. It's just a pain when everything else exports so nicely. Before I head to a session I just want to export, print, and go.
Do you not feel that this feature might be helpful to some? I understand that there are workarounds but there are manual workarounds to anything dndbeyond does.

That would be a long print out. Prepare casters export their entire class spell list.
There may also be something related to licensing restrictions, since that may count as distributing licenced content. IDK.

No electronics permitted at the table. Spell cards are okay but it's another thing to buy or make. I'd prefer to just have a list.
You can always make your own spell list and print that out.

I think it largely falls outside the remit of DDB; it's not meant to be a print on demand service.
