For context, I have already purchased all the of the books offered in the Sourcebook bundle and some of the the books offered in the Adventure bundle. I have been thinking about picking up the Legendary bundle to complete my collection of books on DnDBeyond. As such, I have been keeping an eye on the prices as new books are released and have noticed something very odd that I can't explain regarding the pricing.
Prior to the release of Saltmarsh and Acquisitions Inc. The Legendary bundle was around $115. After Saltmarsh (which I pre-ordered), I saw the price jump to around $145. And after Acquisitions Inc. (which I also pre-ordered), I saw the price jump again to around $190. So, there have not been any new additions of books that I didn't already purchase, but the price keeps increasing.
Currently:
Sourcebook $20.00
Legendary $187.93
Adventure $213.15
Also, I currently own all of the material included in the Sourcebook bundle. Why the extra $20?!?!
We'd likely need to get Support involved to see the transaction history and specifics. For reference though, if you have used any discount codes for the book purchases, this does not reflect in the bundled prices. The difference will always remain if one wishes to jump to the legendary level.
I'm in a similar situation - the only book in the source book bundle I don't have is the AI book, but my cost for the bundle is $67.48.
My guess (not a substitute for an official answer) is that they subtract the amount you have spent (on items in the bundle) from the cost of the bundle. So for instance if you applied any sort of discount code to the cost of your previous purchases, you will get less than "full credit" towards the bundle. Got scooped by a moderator - no need for speculation.
Honestly I could quibble with the AI book being considered a source book (It contains a 1-7 level campaign, the "monsters" are mostly just NPCs...) but that's kind of beside the point I guess.

It might be worth checking with Support (https://dndbeyond.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=602788) to assist with purchase related questions, as they'll have more visibility than I will.
