I am hesitating to invest in DNDBeyond simply due to the entry cost barrier. It is hard enough to justify the additional cost of maintaining a physical library and digital copies. Compounding the problem I have three DnD players in my house which means 3x the purchase requirements (meaning 4 copies of everything).
I would be more apt to invest in digital products if those resources could be available to other members of my household.
What you probably want to do is have one person be the book buyer, with a master-tier subscription. Then that person would have to make games and enable content sharing even if they're not playing. (It's not, in my experience, a problem to run a game from a player slot. Occasionally you'll need the other person to do some administrative task.)
As long as you aren't running more than five games between you, this will work fine.
It would be nice to be able to also move characters between logins under a master family account. I pay for the DnDBeyond content, but I cannot use the Campaign feature, because my kids' characters are all created under my profile. I would like to be able to assign characters to different players all under the same umbrella account.

Add them to a campaign, then unassign them. Other people in the campaign can then claim them.
