I was going over the information presented in D&D Beyond for the D&D Essentials Kit's Dragon of Icespire Peak, and while the rules for running sidekicks are present, the sidekick cards are not available.
Considering the Quest Cards are included online, I would like the sidekicks to be as well. I would allow me to hand over the card, and just use Beyond to reference the character's personality.
I noticed the availability of the statistics. What I refer to are the 9 cards that come with the essentials kit box, which have the illustrations of the npcs on one side, and the personality traits, bonds, ideals and flaws on the back.
Disappointing that these cards are not included. It seems like it would be an easy win and not much different than the inclusion of the Quest cards that are already present in the adventure. I know the sidekicks are all easily swapped out for other NPCs, but to someone who has read them over before, I've already started to think of them as part of this specific adventure and their absence in the D&D Beyond version seems strange. Plus I'd love to be able to use that art in VTTs!
DDB only does compendium content (reproducing the books) with the exception of the tactical maps reincarnated. They said on a dev stream I think that prop items like cards are outside of their purview unless they're cards printed inside book.
Replying here for anyone else interested: Now that the three post-game adventures have been added to D&D Beyond, the sidekick cards are also available! This is great news (thank you D&D Beyond!) https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/sdw/sidekicks#SidekickCards

The sidekicks are available as monster entries, one per sidekick per level:

yeah, just go to your character's 'Extras' tab and you'll see a Sidekick category under 'Creature'...it allows you add by class & level.

Those, I haven't been able to find.
Those are accessories/props which DDB doesn't provide.
