Is there anyway to hide some of these spells? Not a single list is useful in its entirety and I’m sick of looking for my useful spells with these dotted about my spell list. Yet here I am, with several spells I know I will never use on my character, and a growing resentment to just not play a Paladin because it bothers me so much.
You can't get rid of them, because they're auto-prepared (unless you want to homebrew a new subclass without them, but that's a lot of effort and you'd have to run it by your DM). You can change the name of the spells to 'No,' which might make them a little easier to skim over, but I've traditionally used that more for spells that my cleric isn't allowed to prepare by church law (like necromancy spells) rather than autoprepared spells, so it's more useful for me when choosing what spells to prepare as opposed to taking up less room on the spells tab on the character sheet.
