This normally doesn't matter much, even in some of the longer adventure chapters that I've run (although I do always have DDB at 90% zoom already). There are occasions though when the lack of sidebar scrolling means you can only jump to content up to a point.
Example:
Until I zoom all the way out to 67%, I can't click on Wood Elf when every option for elves is unlocked. At 90% zoom, I can only get as far as Sea Elf before having to manually scroll the rest of the way down.
