I've asked about this SEVERAL TIMES in many different places, and each time I never get an answer.
I post regularly in the Streams and Video subforum to announce streams or share videos... you know, the things that subforum is actually designed for? Normally there's no problem, but every once in a while something I post gets flagged as spam, and there's no option to contest this or... anything, really. Which wouldn't be so frustrating, except I have no idea why certain posts get flagged as spam and others don't. At first I thought it was short posts that just had links and nothing else, so I tried writing more in-depth posts. That seemed to work for a time, but still some posts end up flagged as spam anyway.
I don't mind that there's automation in place to combat spam. I just want to know what it is. When something gets flagged as spam, it would be really, really helpful if it came with some kind of short message explaining WHY that specific post was flagged. Especially if it's something that I could edit to fix, but as it stands I can't even see my own post to try and figure out what's happening. Just knowing what the rules are on what counts as spam for the automated system would help immensely.

We don't tell people why their posts are flagged as spam because that undermines the spam detection system by informing bad actors what not to do in order to succeed more at getting their spam through. If a post gets erroneously flagged as spam, message a member of the moderation team and they'll investigate
Should I even bother posting Stream announcements on this site? It's not much help if I'm trying to announce a stream, only for it to get flagged as spam and I have to wait for a mod to clear the flag, and seeing as it took 11 hours for a mod to reply to this thread I wonder how often the stream announcement will be buried until long after the stream is finished.

This is a forum post, not a direct message, and as such don't get responded to as quickly by mods.
If you don't raise the spam detection misfiring, it can't ever get fixed.
