Would be nice to be able to search through the compendium. 

Bonus:  when you do a keyword search and a 'top hit' topic is returned, 'related' topics should also be returned...

So if I search on 'movement,' the search may return a link to 'combat movement' (assuming that is the most clicked through search term), but also list special types of movement, movement through difficult terrain, etc.

Agreed.  This feature would be even more useful when the Compendium is expanded to include content from the Core Rule Books.
