I am a serious fan of your system and the apps you have created to allow us to use this to play D&D virtually anywhere. Recently I got my hands on some inexpensive tablets, specifically the Amazon Fire 7. However, there was no app on their store. Though I was able to use the site, it is a bit frustrating. I just wanted to suggest that you may want to look to making your app available on their store too. They use a system similar to android from what I have read, so it could be as simple as adjusting your current android build for their set up. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing all the new things that you will be doing to make this site even better.
Hi - You can load the Google Play Store on a kindle fire pretty easily without jailbreaking. Just google 'install google play on a kindle fire' and the first result that pops up takes you through it step by step. Might be a good workaround for you.
The only downside is that I've found the battery drains a bit quicker with all the google stuff on the Kindle.
The issue is that Fires can be super tetchy when you sideload the Google Play stuff on them. On my Fire 8 Plus I had to give up and choose whether I wanted a working Disney+ app or Chrome, because I just couldn't have both. A native app in the store would be very, very nice.
Problem with side loading the Google Play app is that when you go to the DND Beyond app it says the device is not compatible. It would be really nice to have it directly avaialbe in the Amazon app store.
I agree, just pick up the Fire Tablet HD 10... Was super excited to use it at my D&D sessions (no free wifi where we play) - but I can't. A bit sad really.... I ended up taking screenshots of the pages I need from the web version - but it's not as useful.
