Hi, does anyone know if there's plans to add spell points alternative option to DDB? I love the system, but DDB not having it makes me want to use P&P again.
They're planning on eventually adding all variant and optional rules, but the emphasis is on eventually. They have to prioritise core features and stuff that supports all play styles first.
Necro'ing threads is explicitly against forum rules
This is true, but a thread is not considered dead after just a month. So at worst, this would just be bumping (which is also against the rules), but I don't even really think it counts as that since this person has not posted to this thread yet so they are adding their voice to the request and not post for the sole purpose of getting the thread to the front of the forum.
In other words, don't confess to a crime you haven't committed Solaries, you'll get yourself in trouble.
IMO, it's something that DDB should put a higher priority on than UA materials that will be Archived when they don't pan out. Look at the Class Variant UA. DDB is still working on it, and it is Playtest material. If they put the same amount of time/money into OFFICIAL materials, even if they are optional rules, then they would have been in the game ages ago.

Plans, yes. Working on, nor to my knowledge.
I also want to play with spell points. You can do some quick math to turn larger spell slots into larger slots and vice versa.
Gonna necro this thread to say I hope they'll introduce this soon.
