As a DM I often switch between the official D&D Beyond app and OneNote, using OneNote to plan sessions and the app to research monsters, adventures, etc.. Often, the app continues where I left of, but too often it has to restart, forcing me to find the exact place where I left off, which is annoying and can be time consuming.
This is a new iPad 11. I tried to find out whether that would be an iPad or app problem. I was told in multiple places that this is clearly an app problem, the iPad has the capacity and ability to keep apps in RAM if they are coded right. I mean it works with all other apps, just not the D&D Beyond app.
I am aware I could just use the website, but honestly, what's the point of the app then?
