I think improving the search feature would greatly improve quality of life on D&D Beyond. If i search "explorers pack" i get results like mite and grick. But if I search "explorer's pack" I actually get the right item. This happens with many other things but I can't think of them off the top of my head.
"Explorer pack" doesn't get you the right result either.
The search engine on DDB is very basic (like circa 1991, pre-internet, second generation search engine used by universities basic. Not even kidding). It needs to support operators like (-) to exclude terms and (" ") to search phrases. It also needs to be able to search related and partial terms (like "Explorer" and "explorers" should return "explorer's" results) unless quotes are used. And lastly it needs to sort by relevance and exclude similar results. And that is just to do what is expected.
After it is is brought up to 200X standards, it can be improved by allowing searching specific sources and listings.
