I've been trying out the beta as a DM for my group's campaign in the rise of Tiamat story line and I have found the beta to be useful up to a point.
There are some new players in the group and every time they are given a task, they immediately start asking for gold as incentive to go on their mission.
What I have decided to do is reward them rather with magical items after they complete their task and the beta has been most helpful for a DM with little time to prepare but a hell of a lot of ambition for the next session.
I think that a simple 'add to a list' function could do wonders for the final product. For example: you find a magical item, a spell or a monster that a DM might consider using in his or her campaign, the player could click on a small icon for that particular item and it would add itself to a list on that user's profile page, automatically putting the added item into a list based on it being a spell, an item or a monster. This function would immediately increase the accessibility of D&D 5e material that is available to a large base of players, from novices to proven masters, and liven up any campaign with a simple click.
What do you think? Would you use this feature? Could this be further used in homebrew campaigns and if so, how?
