So I just wanted to say I've been messing around with the various tools on D&D Beyond for a while now, and about to embark on my first actual campaign with everyone using it, and first of all kudos to all involved for making and maintaining the site!
At the moment all I've unlocked is the Player's Handbook, but I'm looking towards adding more (most likely Eberron and Xanathar's Guide to Everything) but I'm noticing that there seems to be a a gap in the kinds of bundles being offered.
Currently the bundles offered by the site are very much "all or nothing"; you're buying entire categories of books, or absolutely everything on the site, and while they're great value for people that actually want to buy that much, it feels to me like most small, casual groups probably aren't look to drop several hundred dollars on content for their campaigns.
So I was wondering about the possibility of D&D Beyond adding some smaller bundles in future?
I'm thinking along the lines of some starter bundles, probably three books or so; the idea is to make it easier for new DMs and groups to pick out a good set to get started (in my case that would be handbook + Xanathar's Guide + Eberron, but maybe more seasoned players would have other recommendations?) giving a good wide range of options for players to get creative with. Other small sets could include adventures set in the same area (e.g- Waterdeep), or which follow on from one another chronologically and so-on. Basically give us themed bundles of two to four books that make it easier to pick out what we need, rather than requiring us to research a bunch of books.
While ideally these would come with a discount (even if a small one), even if they came with none I think it'd be nice just to be able to pick from bite-sized "themes" to build up a collection. I also wonder if it might be worth offering "DM Bundles"; for example a couple books + a six month subscription for $100 or so? It just feels like there could be some more obvious "starter pack" type offers that can give a budding DM everything they could need to start if they want more than is available for free, currently it seems a bit too freeform in my opinion.
If a discount could be made available for smaller bundles, then a supplementary option would be "Pick'n'Mix" bundles, whereby a customer can choose whatever they want (e.g- any three books) to get a similar discount, if they have more specific needs that aren't catered for, already have some of the books etc.
Former D&D Beyond Customer of six years: With the axing of piecemeal purchasing, lack of meaningful development, and toxic moderation the site isn't worth paying for anymore. I remain a free user only until my groups are done migrating from DDB, and if necessary D&D, after which I'm done. There are better systems owned by better companies out there.
I have unsubscribed from all topics and will not reply to messages. My homebrew is now 100% unsupported.

Just wanted to second this. The Essentials Kit is nice, but a small bundle with a Players Handbook and a subscription would be awesome.
