I've been working on this document for close to 18 months now. I watch every update and collect all the information being said. I spend an hour a week, sometimes more, to try and save DDB staff and moderators time and anguish. But every time I try to point people towards it in the place it is needed the most, the Dev Update stream, a moderator deletes my message.
Shouldn't you support someone who tries to make life easier for everyone, who tries to save Adam time and make the Dev Update more efficient? If anything, it should be in a central location on the site itself instead of maintained off brand.
What usually ends up happening is me answering half the question askers before their question gets read on stream. And I even get many thanks and support from the users themselves. Can I at least not have my message constantly deleted?
We are very grateful that you are so dedicated to helping our community! Considering how much Adam talks about in a typical Dev Update, the task you have taken on is certainly daunting. We've enjoyed your posts on the Discord promoting your document, and I'm glad you've got the link in your bio here on the forums. Sadly we must be very cautious on Twitch with allowing any links in chat that do not come from a moderator for the safety of all of our users, which is why links are not allowed there and are deleted.
Is there anything I can do to make it safer? Would you like to check out the link? Would you like to control the referral? Would you like ownership of the document and just have me at contributor?
I would rather have any solution, even ones which reduce my control, rather than have the situation continue.
Can I be a contributing author on DDB articles? Can you set aside one page that I can edit and nothing more?
I love what you've done with the place and I really just want to help.
