I made a post on this day one but instead of bumping it (it was lost in the slew of initial reports) I offer this suggestion again.
Basically by being able to search by damage types users can more easily look up spells that they want to have if they are looking to make a pyromancer (by looking at all fire spells) or an acrimancer for acid.
Another use is to make sure you have a wide range of damage types. So you make sure your next spell selection is Force or Thunder damage.

Filtering by Damage Types does exist in the Advanced Filters section.

that sounds like a great idea. Not all spells would have a damage type, of course, and some (protection from elements) would have multiple.
