My wife and a few friends decided to watch Game of Thrones. We joked about watching 7 seasons and then just not watching the 8th season at all and instead starting a GoT homebrew campaign to finish out the series. At first it was just a joke but I decided to sit down and see what it would take to do it. I found a blog post with some cool pre-generated 5e character sheets for all the popular characters. This made me realize how cool it would be to have a "homewbrew character sheets" section here on dndbeyond. I'd love to create character sheets and publish them here so that others could import them into their own campaigns. It would be super slick if I could create a campaign and then run over to "browse homebrew characters" and add them to my collection and campaign.
Alright, I can get behind this one. It's less homebrew and more just "let us submit pregenerated characters for people."

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
The ability to copy other peoples characters is something that's on the roadmap as far as I know. One of the proposed uses would be to make pre-generated characters from box sets such as the Essentials Kit and Stranger Things Starter Set more accessible.

Yeah that's true but all the tools we have for homebrew stuff fit it so well that I just kind of lumped it in with them. Basically just want to be able to collect characters others create just like I can with homebrew stuff :)

Yeah that would be awesome! Good to know it's on the roadmap. I hope it's not too far out.
