If you are anything like me, you've found yourself on D&D Beyond a lot during this pandemic, and I have spent a considerable amount of time creating characters, races, classes, etc. One of the things I noticed is that I am regularly scrolling through my characters looking for something I created recently (or months ago) without any idea what I named the character. "What was the name of that Gnome Ranger/Beast Master I created who rides around on a giant badger?" I clearly remember the character concept, but I have no idea where to find them in my list of characters.
I'd like to suggest that a function be added to the "My Characters" page that allows for a folder-esque system. Have a penchant for creating dwarf characters of every conceivable class/subclass? Group those beard boys together by class. Have specific settings for which you create certain characters? Assign them to a folder based on landscape or campaign setting! Like to go crazy and imagine randomness just to see how it might look on a character sheet? Organize by whatever descriptor you'd like!
I know having nameable folders to assign my characters to would be incredibly helpful. In my mind, it would function similarly to either the subclass expansion in the character creator OR the separations that exist for campaigns. You could even include it in the end of character creation. "Assign this character to a grouping?"
Am I the only one who would find this useful?

I have been a DM and player for the last 10 years. I enjoy playing spellcasters and monks. As a DM I tend to engineer campaigns that are heavier on the RP than combat.
That's handy! I still would like to see it from D&D Beyond, but this works too!

Use the Beyond Help chrome extension - you can create folders with that.
