Hey, I was just thinking the other day, If Talespire (if you haven't seen GO LOOK AT IT!!!) and DDB collaborated to cross save campaigns, characters, encounters and stuff, it would be so much more user friendly, and be a win win for both sides. Say you wanted to transfer a character across, you would have to fully fill out a new character based on your DDB character. But if you could quickly switch back and forth, transferring stuff back and forth, it would be so much easier. Another thought, when new purchasable campaigns come out from D&D, you could purchase an equivalent pre-set pre-made campaign on Talespire that fans or developers could make, allowing for continued profit and interest. What do you think???
It would be great, but it's probably unlikely. DDB seems to be in the process of building out their own VTT, so they likely won't work directly with others. Even the existing ones (Fantasy Ground, Roll20, Foundry) don't directly work with DDB, they need third-party tools. These are all going to be competitors in the future.
