I'm using DND Beyond for a couple different characters in a couple different campaigns. I've bought the Player's Handbook, the Magic Items section of the Dungeon Master's guide and the Spells section of Xanathar's Guide to Everything.
The thing is that the house rules for one of those campaigns does not allow for anything that is not in the Player's Handbook and the Dungeon Master's Guide. The problem is that now that I've bought Xanathar's Guide to Everything for the other campaign I just see those spells mixed in with the base spells. Obviously I can go look at the rulebook and figure out which belong to which but there is nothing on the character sheet that indicates their source and there does not seem to be a way to disable certain rule books for certain campaigns. You can disable Homebrew, Critical Role and Playtest content so it would be great if you could do the same for other content sources.
More granular content management, both through content sharing and character builder, is still on the roadmap. This includes factoring in AL validation.
That would almost enable creating PHB+1 characters more easily... Which is in the works for several years now. Must be hard to add one more source filter to the first character edit page and then filter races, classes, feats, items and most important spells.
But maybe than I would not find spells per accident that I want to buy eh... no customers don't work like that, they are just annoyed and have a bad experience.

This is confirmed in the works, no exact release date.
Cool, thanks for letting me know.
Any update on an ETA for this. It would be especially great for Adventurers League players.

Thank you for the reply. Any insight on where on the roadmap? Q3 2021 for example?
