I would personally love to see a way to make Dndbeyond friendlier on the eyes. Is there a way to do this already or will I need to beg developers to think of my precious eyes?
Seems like a lot of work for the Devs for something you can do yourself in a few clicks by just getting an extension for your browser, like everyone else does. Or just use the device in a well-lit room and adjust brightness settings on the device - which you're supposed to do (and is actually healthier for your eyes than relying on dark mode). In either case - something you can add yourself within seconds, as opposed to the weeks of time and effort they would need to implement a dark mode.
Personally, I'd rather they focus on the dozens (literally) of features and upgrades they have planned, and also work on the bug fixes and issues currently present. Seems a much better use of time.

yeah, but sometimes those extensions lead to the constant captcha trap due to the security on the site. So it would still be nice to have a Dark Mode native to the site (since they have multiple teams, it doesn't *have* to take away from the other things they are working on, but I'm not sure of the layout on their back end so maybe it would, I don't know)

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
I do not want to detract from important features and upgrades obviously. However, I believe a Dark Mode option would be very popular since many tables employ mood lighting and the bright white light is distracting and straining on the old eyeballs.

There's been tons of threads about this. It may or may not be coming down the road.
Thanks, I had done a search of the forums for "Dark Mode" but perhaps the threads were titled some other lingo.
Yeah, the search feature is kind of busted.
But I do want it as well, so hopefully we'll get Dark Mode soon.

In the meantime there's an extension you can install to get a dark mode:

Oh that's wonderful! Thank you! :)
