On the topic of character art, I'm not the best a creating full body artwork. BUT that being said I can still art. but would like to commission someone into to making my character in the DnD art style. If i could figure out how to post the picture in here I would. I'm not the savviest with forums. but basically I am in a Campaign where the races are homebrewed and I play as an eldritch or what most would know as a mindflayer, these eldritches are still known as the mindflayers they once were but know with with sanity and free will of a regular human being. once I get the picture up I'll post more about him, who is known as Kthall Domnic.
To link pictures to the forum you should have a pic hosting account such as imgur.com
Then you can upload picture there.
Click on your picture you uploaded at imgur and copy the direct link to your clipboard.
In the D&D Beyond Forums you can insert a picture using Forum Formatting Tool Bar at the top of your chat message (Yeah its the tool bar your writing in, lots of useful things there)
Then when the window pop's up asking for you image you can paste the direct image link from your clipboard. Then choose a good size (300-400) is good, and just click save. Oh and just insert the first number and leave constrained proportions checked (this will keep your pic to scale)
Your image is in your forum post and you are ready to post replies !! Good Luck, Have fun drawing.
I wish they had a native uploader, but I imagine that can be taxing with file limits and such
Possibly Curse may do. However we shouldn't hold our breath. If members are paying for the subscription, and Curse is in partnership with Amazon and Twitch then I wouldn't see why they couldn't. Amazon has more than enough space, depending on how big the community grows.
We can also link the images to the D&D Beyond monster catalogue. It'd be nice to see if the artists expand their creativity to spells and items :-)
