So for example with an Eladrin Elf it gets a free misty step that you can use without a spell slot that resets on a short rest. If I click the "use" button it grays it out but never resets after you click a short rest or even a long rest. Same problem with spell slots and HP, they do not reset either. Although at lest with spell slots you can just click it again and it will uncheck, but for class features and feats the spell stays grayed out.
This is for the website character sheet that the problem is, The phone app does work and will reset correctly after a short or long rest
Are you clicking twice on the Short/Long rest? First click starts a short timer - during which you need to click again - otherwise it will not apply the rest. This is to stop people accidentally resting their character.
lol well I guess you need to click it 3 times, I click long rest and the box opens up to the right and I click the "take long rest" button and then there was a count down. Didnt realize I had to click it again for it to actually work. Thought the countdown was time to hit cancel rather then a 3rd click to get it to work.. So that does the trick and everything resets..
But on a side note having to click 3 times to take a rest is a bit absurd.. But it least it is working. thanks for the reply

The reason the first click doesn't start the long or short rest is that it brings up the dialogues for the rest type - there are options that can be configured - for both rest types, you can choose to reset (or not) any changes to the characters' Max HP; for short rests, it's also where you track how many hit die have been used (note: the short rest doesn't automatically roll the hit die for you, it's just a check list).
Once you have configured, then you can trigger the rest by clicking the take rest button twice.
I understand it now, It's just kind of absurd that there is that much security to prevent an accidental rest. lol There is no double press with a countdown needed for the phone app so why for the pc? Either way, as long as it works (and I know how to actually use it correctly lol) then its all good..
Mage Armor's ability to change your AC has never been officially supported, as it's a temporary spell effect. I'm not sure how you might have had your sheet set up such that it used to actually function, even the workaround has always been 'equip/unequip item that grants a bonus to AC.'

Thanks. I'm not sure how it was working before, either. I could be misremembering (I didn't know until this thread that Long Rest needed two clicks to work, and I'd been resetting everything manually; maybe that's what happened?) Anyway. Thanks.

Came here for the reverse… long rests don’t work on mobile app (iPad)…
