I recently was running an encounter I had built when I noticed that two of the PCs in my party were marked as being in death saves on the roll for initiative screen. I had them check and they were at full health. They refreshed their page, I refreshed mine, and it still showed them as being in death saves. I then exited and went to edit the encounter, refreshing who was in the encounter and reselecting the party, but upon relaunching the encounter the PCs were still shown to be in death saves.
Eventually the bug fixed itself when we started logging damage, the current values popped up on the DM end, but it was an odd thing that slowed down our gameplay as we tried to figure out what on earth was happening.
Hello @rhoupt - I have exactly the same issue. We've just dealt with it as you did the last few weeks, but it's getting quite frustrating. Nothing I've done today can fix it on my end. The character is actually at full health 147/147. In the encounter they are showing in death saves. I can't get it to go away.
@DnDBeyond - any news about what this bug is or how to fix it?
EDIT ADDED: After adding damage and then healing numerous times (I think it took between 5 and 7) it started to show the players HP value instead of Death Saves. It still seems to be a bug that needs to be addressed.
Any info on this? Whatever the bug is seems to be impactng the campaign view on the app too.
I've found that I can force a resfresh by opening the character builder for the character, making some small change and saving, then refreshing the app/encounter, but that's becoming tedious.
