Any clarification on how the greyed out Checkout button issue was fixed?
I am also a UK customer and I am having the same issue and after doing an extensive search I cannot find any way to directly contact WoTC for support. Apparently they don't actually want me to be able to be able to spend £180 to purchase these new books because they have given me no way of contacting them to torubleshoot the technical issue preventing me making the purchase. Not even a web chat, let alone an email address, forget about a support phone number. There was an FAQ, which didn't include, "the payment page doesn't work" as one of the Q's.
I have tried multiple browsers etc with no effect, all get the same result.
I realise this is D&D beyond and not the parent company.... But if anyone here at DND beyond wanted did have a means of communicateing this issue to D&D UK you might get a sale out of it.
I preordered all three book (physical + digital) on the EU site, then tried to activate the keys on dnd beyond but got internal error all three times. Also I got only some of the perks, like 12 dice, 5 backdrops, some frames (def not 15 of them). I created a ticket for the support, but will I be able to get all the perks and will my digital part of preorder be added to my dnd beyond account?

We can't buy the bundle on DDB if we are from the UK. (We can only buy digital items here). UK customers have to buy the books from the UK store: D&D | Official Online Store (wizards.com)
I have purchased the three core books (you have to add them individually) - and they only come with both the phys and digital as one bundle for each book at the moment. I can confirm that I have also received the dice pre-order reward so far (that's the only one yet, but I assume the others will be released at some point)

Don't panic - the same thing happened to me when I activated the keys I got from the UK store. I then went to DDB and checked my Licenses in my account and all three books were registered there correctly. It seems to be a bug with the site that throws the error. (And yes it worried the heck out of me at the time too) So double check your Licenses section in your account.to confirm.
I realise that, and I apologise if I was not clear. On the UK D&D official store the "checkout now" button is greyed out. I check the "Before you continue, please acknowledge that your payment will be collected during checkout for the full order. For more information, please see our FAQs. I understand and I accept." checkbox but nothing happens.
I would like to raise this with Wizards.com support.... but after 30+ minutes of checking found no way to do so. Given I work in IT and have nearly 30 years experience working with computers and the internet if I can't find your support options after 30+ minutes of looking they functionally don't exist. If WoTC would LIKE to sell me their new books for £180 then I am suggesting that they might like to get of their backsides and provide a readily available support option for us to resolve the issue... Or they can just not make the sale. Their choice.

Oh I see - sorry for my misunderstanding! I've just gone and checked the store to try it out. The button is indeed greyed out. However when I tick the check box, the greyed out button becomes clickable. So I have to assume this is something maybe on your end / browser possibly. Have you tried in a different browser? (For reference, I am using Edge)
As for contacting Wizards, I had the same problem - I think that this forum (for Support) is intended as the place to contact them. There is a store locator option on the UK site, but I dont know that a store staff member would be able to help with website issues probably. It might be worth creating a new and separate thread for your issue.

Assuming you're looking on dndstore.wizards.com, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Customer Support
If you're looking here on D&D Beyond, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Contact Us. This takes you to a page that says
Please visit our D&D Beyond email form to submit a support ticket to us. We try our best to respond as quickly as possible. However, we do answer the requests in the order that they are received.
The site is incompatible with Dashlane - which is a bit of an issue seing as that is A) a fairly major plugin and B) used to store credentials used for filling in forms with things like payment details.
Entertainingly it also breaks the parts of the website which load in their support which is why it was impossible to find.
The problem with having your support being run by a java applet loaded by a java applet ... [provided by a 3rd party] as opposed to just giving people a phone number/email address to contact is that if the thing that breaks IS your website, your solution doesn't failsafe. Anyhow it is, in my case, now sorted.
I dont know If you're still having problems but I live In Australia and I have found out from some of my other friends as well that they also can't preorder It, I believe that those In Australia are not able to Preorder the new books whatsoever which I find a bit annoying.
Hi everyone. I'm late to this, but I had to endure this same disappointment over the weekend. I emailed Wizzards to ask for clarification and they tried to tell me that I get everything for the same price from their store. Obviously that was incorrect, which I wrote a reply back saying so. The reply I next got was a template, thanks for your feedback, we appreciate you, blah blah. Very disappointing and I haven't really seen it brought up and talked anywhere other than here. Add me to the list of disappointed customers.

What country ?
I purchased on dndstore.wizards.com shipping to Australia, price was USD180 + 10% GST (Taxes).
this is the same cost as dndbeyond so i do not know what other people are seeing, but there is no difference from my perspective.

As Many have already mentioned you do actually get it for the same price (with maybe a rounding issue due to exchange rates fluctuations). The US price in dndbeyond store is excluding taxes. While for (most of?) the rest of the world the prices are including taxes.

Ok that would make sense, I find it funny tho how you can tell me this, quite simply in a short paragraph. When I email wizzards they didnt give me a simple answer to clarify this. So, in the US what is the total in dollars for the physical and digital bundle including taxes, does anyone have an example of what they paid?
More out of curiosity and to feel better about it now.
I’m confused by the VAT/TAX answer here for the UK… as books are 0% VAT rated in the uk and are therefore tax exempt.
This is true for both physical and virtual versions of books - so I’m abit confused why everyone’s saying if you account for tax it balances out - in the uk we do not pay VAT on books. (Unless their is some exception for TTRPG books I’m unaware of, but I can’t see why their would be.)
If WotC are adding VAT onto its sales in the UK, they are overcharging UK customers by about 20%, as books are subject to the VAT 701/10 notice.

I'm neither WotC nor a VAT expert, but they're probably being taxed as games.
That genuinely shouldn’t matter though.
its a rule book… that would still be a book.
also I checked with some book suppliers websites in the uk: the 2014 PHB is considered to be tax exempt. (Actually all DnD books are considered tax exempt in the uk)

Hi Zeliret,
I got the same errors, don't worry. Thought it was just me but it sounds like a little more QC could be done with their redeption process.
if you go to your DnDBeyond account, Licences tab, the 2024 books should appear.
as for the perks, only the PHB bonuses have so far been released.
12 dice, 5 backdrops and should be 10 frames

Oh, thanks! So apparently the other perks will be added later when released.
Dice are pretty lacklustre so far imo!

That'll vary from state to state, which is why DDB doesn't list it in marketplace and why you need to enter your address for a digital purchase
