I have the master tier account for our gaming group. Currently I'm not DMing, just running a PC. Our DM is using the map tools in DDB and I had to make a secondary free account and play on that so I couldn't see the entirety of the maps. Is there a way to enable fog of war for all PCs that I'm unaware of. I'd love to be able to use my master account for all of the ancillary things I have like frames, backdrops and dice, etc.

Giving free access to everything would be commercially bad for WoTC.
I think Maps ought to work the same way as encounter/combat builder and character sheets. That is, provide access to content that has been shared with the campaign.
However, currently the alpha version of Maps only has access to content that is free or is owned by the user managing the map (you/me, not other players sharing content). This is very limiting. I have to create my own maps or get copies from the other players and other sources. I also have to homebrew copies of monsters so I can add their tokens.
So, I'm technically to show what I want, but it is a lot of work. It's not such a big deal. I already homebrew lots of monsters for use in the encounter/combat builder, for content that DnDBeyond does not give me access to. These include content that I can browse to on the site, which is a bit odd, but may demonstrate the issue DnDBeyond has with the way they control access to purchased and free content. That might explain why Maps doesn't do what we need yet.
