Message for the mods/admins : Hi i don't know if posting it here is correct so feel free to move it or take it down.
Because i like to tinker a bit i've found a "solution" to the subclass problem (is it janky? yes, does it work? also yes)
IT WORKS WITH EITHER 2014 and 2024 PG
Requirement:
A copied subclass of the class you need (i'll use the fighter subclass CHAMPION as a demonstration)
a bit of patience
So let's start :
Copy a subclass that has the class you need as a target
After that you should have a page with COPY_OF_*name* (in my case COPY_OF_Champion). Go all the way down until you see the add class feature button and press it.
After that write the information in the box marked with the * simbol and set the level you want the feature to show
Now the "janky" part starts... You need to select replace and put 1 random class feature to replace but dont press the button yet (my example below)
Now you just need to pick granted instead of replaced (don't remove the class feature to replace) it should look like this
Now the create button will work and it will let you save your NEW feature
If you save it and go back to the copy of the subclass you should see now you have a NEW GRANTED feature instead of a REPLACED ONE
Repeat step 2-7 all the time you need and after that delete the feature of the template subclass(they are not needed anymore, altho i suggest keeping one as a "phantom" so you can repeat the method) and after that you will have your custom subclass :D

EDIT:
Video version aswell (the floating window doesn't show but i think it's not an issue, it's pretty easy).
I really hope this helps everyone, have a nice day.
EDIT : as long as a subclass has already 1 class feature you can use that for the "janky" method (so if someone already made like 90% of his homebrew subclass it can continue it without creating a new copy of a rando subclass on the site)
After 5 days I have to say it: not addressing bugs/issues with a Homebrew tool on a platform that is nickel and diming every subscriber is... telling.
I'm no dev and I won't pretend to understand where these issues come from or how to fix it, but the least they could do is give us an update? I use DND Beyond as a paid subscriber- I'm paying to use these features- they should work or at least we should know they're being worked on.
Yeah, this is a pretty major bug to exist on a paid platform. There should at least be some acknowledgement from the devs. My support tickets just give canned responses.
I just hopped on to check and it seems to be working again. Homebrew subclass features are back in the land of the living.

Why? Why do the fools fly? Better to burn sooner than late, for burn we must. Go back to your bonfire! And I? I will go now to my pyre. To my pyre! No tomb for Denethor and Faramir. No tomb! No long slow sleep of death embalmed. We will burn like heathen kings before ever a ship sailed hither from the West. The West has failed. Go back and burn!
This is slightly off from the original topic, but is anyone else encountering a 500 internal server error if they try to make a copy of specifically a 2024 Barbarian subclass as homebrew?
Thanks for the info, sadly no subclass has the amount of feature needed for my homebrew material.
I really hope they fix it soon or atleast give us a workaround for the issue (even if it's a royal pain in the butt, something is better than nothing)
Yeah i started on this one on sunday, i am kinda stuck rn since i need to put it all in since my players are all remote
ive also only made 1 of the 5 subclasses i have to
Pretty pathetic that you aren't able to fix such a simple bug in 4 days AFTER a user supplied a code level error analysis...
But yeah, what else to expect from greedy money grabbing corpos...
Seems like the merged every topic about it in only 1 nice.
I might have found a solution to this problem (but it's pretty janky) where are we supposed to submit info like this?
the link leads to a 403 error
does the issue happen with the older versions of the classes? im using the 2024 ones so ill try the older ones when im home

okay it took a while to write it down but here you go guys, a temporary "FIX" solution to the problem (found it while thinkering on the site)
IT WORK ON ALL CLASS (2024-2014 as long as they have a subclass present on the site)
https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/bugs-support/212582-temporary-fix-subclass-class-feature-creation
Have fun :D

I've been spoiled by Larian support I guess.
