Hi there! I was attempting to create a homebrew subclass for Monk (and a second one for rogue), but it won't let me add any class features to the subclass after I create it. Like none whatsoever. I can edit the existing ones, but nothing else. I need this homebrew for a player in my campaign, and I am having a lot of difficulty explaining what's going on to them.

Yea this seems to bugged at the moment, doesn't look like the create button doesn't correctly link. I'm sure it's a light week for the devs considering the holidays are coming up. However it would be nice if the bug was acknowledged.
Editing still seems to work, if you can find a subclass as a template you can edit existing features to have them suit your needs.
I just noticed that. Downside is that I have one extra feature for the subclass that I can't add. Double suck moment: I am creating the rogue subclass, and it has several options for what features you can get based on your option choice. The hard part is that there isn't a way to connect a feature option to another feature, only a feature option to a feature option. Wish that was different, tbh.

Ditto-ing everyone else. I can't use the 2014 monk subclass I made last year with new rules, so I tried recreating it off a 2024 monk template, but it won't let me do more than 3/4 class features before locking.
Yeah I tried doing it this way, but it only let me edit 3/4 class features (from their existing template) of it before the create button still stopped working.
Having this exact problem myself, getting the feeling that this won't be fixed for a while. Strap in boys, normal DNDBeyond Tech support incoming, we're gonna be here for a while!
After spending a lot of time considering whether to purchase resources on the site (such as books and a master subscription) and starting a homebrew campaign as a DM, I finally decided to give it a shot.
Although creating custom classes is still unavailable (for some reason), I saw the potential in the homebrew subclass and began working on one. However, something seemed off...
For some random reason, the "create class feature" button appears to be completely empty, almost as if the code behind it was accidentally deleted.
This issue began around five days ago. While I’m not an IT expert, fixing this should be straightforward for a development team capable of implementing features like the new maps and other improvements.
I know I might sound like a crybaby (and to be honest, I am at the moment), and I understand that issues like this aren’t a top priority right now, but could the dev team provide a "temporary" workaround? Maybe something like a string we could paste into the browser console to force the subclass creation? (again i'm not an IT expert but it "should" be possible)
Custom subclasses have been bugged for a while now, I've been trying to build one for the past few days and it's still broken.
IIRC you can create ones using existing subclasses as a base and edit the class features that way, but you still can't add new ones so you're limited to whatever number of features the default class has. Also can't change class feature type (Granted, Additional, Replace).
Ongoing and very frustrating issue, should be a pretty high priority fix imo since making homebrew stuff is a huge part of this site and is relied on by a lot of folks.

Confirming this is happening for me as well as of 16th December '24 when trying to add a new feature to a homebrew variation of a 2024 subclass.
"It's only forever"
Can confirm. Happening to me too. Has there been any reports of them working on fixing this?
yeaaaaah this is a little bit a an issue i hope this gets fixed soon and an admin sees this
Jed
getting the same thing, really sucks that it hasn't been fixed in several days
Adding to the issue, still has not been resolved.
Same here, was trying to add some features to a custom version of an existing subclass, and the button stopped working..
it doesnt even have the redirect when i mouse over it
Same issue for me. I can't make the 4th feature I'm adding. The other features were added a week or two ago but cannot add a new feature.
Issue still exists. Very frustrating

Hey I'm having this issue too. I've been updating some of the subclasses to the Subclasses Revivified versions for personal use.
I can tell you that I created a copy of the Genie subclass for the warlock on 12/2 and was able to use this feature but now it's not working anymore.

Problem is still active, very annoying.
Just made a subclass and was hoping to make a feature but i didn't work which is super annoying, i spammed my mouse for like 10 mins.
