I played for the first time yesterday since November. I was unhappy to find that when I press the "view in browser" button for a character that it opened up a tiny window that did not look like the browser. Maybe it is, but it is so small it is useless. I choose to view characters in the browser because I can zoom in. The app itself does not allow you to zoom in, so for me it is largely useless. So, I had to use a REAL browser on my iPad to view the character. Using an actual web browser works fine on my desktop computer, but for some reason on an iPad it has to be refreshed often. Whenever I would zoom in to read somethng the view would screw up so I had to refresh the page. It was very annoying. This happens in the in-app browser, too, but not as often. I bet I wasted an hour through the session just messing with that.
I was seriously wondering if I would be better off not using D&D Beyond at all if I cannot use it while at the gaming table. Why would you break the in-app browser, and someting I have wondered from the beginning, why can we not zoom in on the actual app? Or choose a larger font? Many gamers do not have perfect vision.
