I don't feel like it falls into the same category as bless or mage armor. Stealth disadvantage from armor shows up on the sheet, this seems like it should as well.

That condition, though, is having the armor equipped while your strength is too low. These are all things currently tracked by the tool, there is no reason not to have it apply the penalty when applicable.

Yes, they are aware and it's on their list of things to update. I believe the last time it was mentioned, they were going to roll it into one update where possible
I noticed that speed is not penalized when wearing armor without meeting the Strength requirement.

And stealth disadvantage barely showed up. It would be better if it were shown on skills tab instead of equipment.
