UA for this month will be available on the following Monday as per our normal schedule with that. The current plan (we are working quickly to make all of this work), is that there will be no duplicates. Instead, the races will be dual-sourced (as we have had to do with the spells that OotA and XGtE share.
Apologies - but correct me if I am wrong here - the 4 races will be both UA (playtest) and non-UA at the same time? I can understand the compendium material being treated as a living document (but still official) and having the playtest tag taking off it, but the races are not yet fine-tuned/balanced (hence the need for UA), this does not make sense to me.

Well, as a "living" document, the paid version will get updated at some point to the finalized official version. Buy now and you'll see those at no extra charge once they appear. Or use the free UA version, knowing that they, like other UA content, will eventually go away. Right now they are the same but that won't always be the case.
