DnDBeyond is becoming painful to use for those of us that don't care or want to buy everything all over again with Monsters of the Multiverse.
It wasn't so bad when I noticed in Encounter Builder that you could use both legacy and MotM versions. As I could remove duplicates by clicking the "Hide Legacy" option.
But now I cant use those monsters and I'm back to selecting all the source books I own every time I want to build an encounter, or just putting up with duplicates everywhere. It's exhausting
Obviously, it would work to just have the feature to hide unowned content, but I doubt that will come because they want us to waste our money on things we don't want.
I second this. Can we have a sort by legacy or MotM content, it's annoying that you have to wade through all of this just to see what you have purchased and can use without the perpetual sells/annoy pitch of buy both to avoid this annoying circumstance that DnDBeyond has created.
