Keeping it simple: I've been playing dungeons and dragons since I was 15. I'm currently 39.
I fully understand that monetization must occur to support the growth of a business; however, the nature of the product you purchased so many years ago, require a level of shared intellectual freedom.
Your customers have always faithfully purchased your products. You could have even made your content entirely open source and simply produced the book material and we would have happily paid. Faithful to the company keeping such a great game alive all these years.
The disappointing part being that, there are so many avenues still left untapped, that could further increase your revenue and expand the game further, yet you are trying to further lock down intellectual access to the use of your products instead?
I'll be moving on to other products now. I'll miss this title dearly but I simply do not have confidence in your products future at this point in time.
