A summary of some features I would suggest for the My Encounters feature on Beyond.
Conditions - perfect world: players in a campaign "target" their actions at other players/encountered creatures in an activated encounter, with trackers for duration, effects of conditions applied, and reminders for savings throws to end as appropriate. Low hanging fruit: allow the DM, through the Encounter Tracker, to activate/drop conditions on all members of the encounter with hyperlinks to the effect of the condition on gameplay. This would be a very valuable addition to the tool.
Concentration - Another potentially huge add would be a simple means of knowing that someone in the encounter is concentrating on a spell.
Spell Effects - spell effects that are not conditions but influence combat encounters (e.g., wall spells, ongoing AOE, individual buffs, etc.) are also easy to lose track of during combat. Perfect world: players in the campaign or the DM can activate spell effects that are visible to the DM in the encounter tracker that )if applicable) identify those under the influence (e.g., Bless) or just state that an effect is in play (e.g., Spirit Guardians) with a hyperlink to the spell/effect. Low hanging fruit - allow the GM to activate a marker on the Encounter Tracker for the spell/effect with a duration and the source (e.g., the monster or player that cast it).
Phased combat - having the option to have combatants enter an encounter based on a time or circumstance trigger (e.g., the third round of combat, after two guards are defeated, if a gong is sounded, etc.) can support easier management of more complex encounters. While there are a number of ways of implementing a feature like this, simply allowing the DM to "store" monsters within the saved encounter but outside of the initiative count that can be brought in at their discretion would be a nice feature.
Combatants target each other - while I suspect this is tricky given the current design of the combat tracker since players cannot see the enemies, you could allow the DM to target the players in the current format. This would be nice, but I would not make it a high priority.
Hide creature names in Game Log - I like the players to see my roles as DM, but I don't want them to see the official names of the monsters that are attacking them. It gives them too much information. Allow the DM to enter an alternative name or otherwise mask the name until the players learn the true nature of an enemy.
Thanks for your consideration.
