I will preface this issue has been going on way longer than the 20+ days mentioned.
I had a support thread open regarding the £179.97 digital & hardcover pre-release, due to a mistake which was blamed on me, I wasn't due to receive the items separately but to wait until everything had released first.
After a lengthy back and forth I was told the only solution was to refund the order and re-order it; I was told that the process was simple, so, reluctantly I agreed, to which they promptly (and the fastest they had ever responded to a reply) pushed me onto their partners at scalefast to resolve it.
I was never told beforehand that the refund wouldn't be put through instantly, the very minute after they pushed me onto another support team I lost all access to the digital book, my order on the WoTC store has vanished, I've lost all pre-order insentives/bonuses after being told I wouldn't lose them and most importantly... I am STILL £179.97 down!
I have not heard from a D&D beyond, scalefast or a WoTC representative in over 20 days. Since then I have submitted another support ticket and still nothing.
I would dispute this through PayPal but I was threatened that any attempt at a chargeback or forced refund would be responded with my D&D beyond account being deleted and being banned forever.
I literally have no way of contacting support or getting my money. I'm hoping this forum post reaches enough people or some moderators to push this forward.
To be outraged is an understatement, thanks for reading this far. I appreciate it

I play D&D to escape the reality of the waiting time between D&D sessions
It is infuriating to read these posts and I find it disgusting that in the present day and age this sort of thing can happen. This is NOT normal, even for a small company/publisher, let alone the company who owns the largest TTRPG in the market by a considerable margin.

Thank you for your engagement. I know it's baffling how a company such as this can hold the monopoly on TTRPG, and actively hinder thier fanbase.
I've been nothing but negatives with this release, from people not enjoying the content, to folks having the same issue as myself, and not one official statement or round of help.
It's so upsetting to see how far downwards this company has gone, and I've been playing 10+ years...
