Why. Why? WHY?!? I lost another probably 3 hours of work because i hadn't saved my work, because i forgot to click a SINGLE BUTTON Make auto saving a thing with homebrew. I don't care if it happens once every hour, half an hour, whatever. But multiple other sites have it and at this point i honestly might just give up trying to use this site for creating my statblocks because this is not the first, second or third time where being forgetful has lost me HOURS of work. i'd have thought something so simple would've been implemented YEARS ago. I mean hell, it was mentioned in a thread here 3 years ago and it barely got a "meh" I lost literally like 3 hours of work that went into my statblock because of a simple mistake.
3 HOURS
so WHEN WILL WE FINALLY GET THIS CHANGE THROUGH THAT SHOULD'VE BEEN IMPLIMENTED AGES AGO i'm aware there is frustration bubbling up here but this is just dumb, and could be so easilly avoided if DnDbeyond just used the same principle as almost any other creation site out there. it's not complicated. it avoids things like this where 3 hours of my prep-time for my session tomorrow literally amounted to nothing. I am just livid because this isn't something that needed to happen at all but here we are.
once again. 3 hours wasted because of a simple mistake. A mis-click is enough to ERASE all of the work I'd have done. and that is just not okay!

If autosave were implemented, I'd definitely want a toggle. Just as frustrating is autosave keeping changes you were trying to discard.
There's a reason I type in a Word document then copy everything in the end.
